About Us
OUR MISSION
Community Connections Group Inc. will attract, partner and coordinate resources for the community by promoting education, culture, and healthy lifestyles to encouraged and produce a positive change.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to help those in the community reach their potential by providing training and resources. We plan to reach everyone in the community by providing programs for the youth, adults, and the elderly.
To help facilitate this vision we hold a Diversity Breakfast to introduce various members of our community to each other who normally wouldn't meet. During one of our Breakfasts, local artist Richard Sullivan, met representatives from Brown Forman. Now, one of his pieces has been featured on the Woodford Reserve Bottle for the Kentucky Derby in 2019 and 2020!

Community Connections Radio Show
The Community Connections Radio Show is our primary vehicle to reach the community. Every Saturday on 104.7 FM we inform, educate, and inspire the community over the airwaves. We have both local and national guest on that inform the community about news, local/national news stories and programs that can benefit them.
FEEDING NEEDY FAMILIES
We are proud to feed needy families in our community. Our food program takes place every Thursday, while once a month we visit homeless camps to give out food and clothing to protect from the elements. To date we have already feed several families and are looking to feed many more.
We're Expanding!
We've added another radio station that you can listen to us on. You can listen to us on 93.5 The Wiz online radio at www.935thewiz.com.

MEET OUR PARTNERS
diversity breakfast
In our continuing efforts to make a change in the community, we started the Diversity Breakfast "Closing the 9th Street Divide". This program was started 7 years ago, encouraging our city to have hard conversations about racism in an effort to make this a better place to live.
The first breakfast we partnered with local News outlets to help ease the racial tensions that exist in our city and country.
