Community Connections has been dedicated to supporting those in need by visiting homeless camps throughout the city and providing food, clothing, and essential resources. Our mission is to offer our homeless family compassion, dignity, love and hope.

Annual Turkey Give-a-way
Each year, Community Connections hosts its Annual Turkey Giveaway at the Dolfinger Building (2500 Montgomery Street, Portland neighborhood), bringing warmth and support to families in need during the holiday season.
Last year, we distributed 8,000 pounds of chicken, as seen on our local news station.
Boys 2 Men Mentoring Program
The Boys to Men mentoring program connects young men with strong, supportive mentors who empower them to become positive forces in their communities. Through weekly interactive sessions, participants gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to grow into successful, self-actualized individuals.
This hands-on program meets youth where they are, providing them with cultural awareness and core values that lay the foundation for lifelong success.
Annual Christmas Party
The holiday season is a time for giving, and each year, Community Connections spreads joy by adopting 75 children and providing them with gifts—including toys, shoes, electronics, and more. Families in need also receive food boxes to help make the season brighter.
Our Annual Christmas Party is more than just a celebration—it’s a chance to bring the community together, create lasting memories, and ensure every child experiences the magic of the holidays. With the support of generous donors and volunteers, we make this event possible.
