Closing of the 9th Street Divide Power Diversity Breakfast

Seven years ago, we launched this event with a simple yet powerful mission: to foster unity through conversation. Our first breakfast, in partnership with local news outlets, aimed to ease racial tensions in our city and beyond. In the face of ongoing challenges, this gathering remains more important than ever.
By coming together and sharing our hopes, dreams, and fears, we can break down barriers and recognize our shared humanity.
Last year’s Diversity Breakfast was a success, sparking meaningful conversations about the issues that shape our community. This year, we continue that mission—because real change begins when we listen, learn, and grow together. Every breakfast event we honor three community members with an award noting their service within our community.

We host the Diversity Breakfast Monthly. Check back frequently for updates on dates and locations.
